It's the early 1990s right now. Carl must return home. His mother was murdered, his family is no longer together, and his old buddies are also in trouble.

When he returns to the area, a few dishonest police officers accuse him of killing someone. To save his family and regain control of the streets, CJ is compelled to embark on a quest that spans the entirety of the state of San Andreas.
